Pakistani waiters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, prepared this delicious tea for us. They claimed its spices help to cure the common cold. For breakfast, it is served with warm milk.

Ingredients:

4 teaspoon high-quality loose-leaf Ceylon tea
4 cardamom pods
4 teaspoons ground ginger
4 cinnamon sticks
4 cups boiling water
Honey, if desired
Milk, if desired
Preparation:

Combine tea and spices in boiling water. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain and add honey, if desired. Serve warm.
