Amy Riolo's mission......
is to accurately portray cultures through cuisine. She fuses the worlds of cuisine, culture, and history in all aspects of her work. Amy strongly believes that eating should evoke both pleasure and health, and therefore makes cooking as fun as eating.
Author
of The Mediterranean Diabetes Cookbook (ADA, 2010), Nile Style: Egyptian Cuisine and Culture (2009), and Arabian Delights: Recipes and Princely Entertaining Ideas from the Arabian Peninsula (2007). She is also the creator of Dining With Diplomats, a Washington, DC based blog. She also writes free lance articles for magazines such as Cooking Light.
Educator
Amy has developed curriculum, lectured, and taught the importance of cuisine and culture at colleges, universities, culinary schools, cultural institutions, embassies, and museums. Her most recent lectures have taken place at Georgetown University, The Smithsonian Institution, and The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Consultant
As an internationally recognized culinary expert, Amy has developed new restaurant concepts and themes, designed menus, created recipes, held training seminars, conducted hands on training sessions with executive chefs, and assisted restaurants and hotels transform their businesses. She also works with groups and individuals who seek assistance in broadening their culinary horizons.
Spokesperson

Amy helps companies get their message out to target companies through her role as Chef/Spokesperson.
